We hope everyone in the Looking Up, Way Up! community is healthy and safe.
Over the winter we continued collecting historic materials with the help of an archive producer. We spent an exceptional month at Scaled Composites in Mojave combing through 35 years of history. Each envelope, box and cabinet we opened revealed new and fascinating stories that range across the incredible breadth of Burt’s career. After all the time we’ve spent with him, we’re still finding new experimental projects and uncovering fresh insights.
Filming our final interviews and filming was suspended by the COVID 19 health crisis. We are investigating protocols that could allow us to safely continue.
During this viral interval we are editing and shaping the form of the final film. Our plan remains to complete the documentary this fall.
